memorial weekend @ smith lake

After the balloons flew and a quick birthday party, we headed to Smith Lake to enjoy the rest of the weekend.  It was a weekend filled with swimming...



...with our daddy and our BFF...



We visited our favorite lake beach...



...and our favorite cliffs...





We snoozed on the boat...



We splashed on the boat dock...



...and played baseball...



We christened the new smoker...



We did hamburgers, hot dogs, a boston butt, chickens and ribs.  It was all delicious & delighful!

We had a little tragedy when one of the floats broke away from the boat lift...



Popsy and Jody worked for hours and finally got it back attached...thanks to a come-a-long, a brain and some braun.

We were all tired from a full day on the lake, so we piled on an airmatress and watched some tv...



We even passed out in the car on the way home...



Another fun-filled lake weekend.  We look foward to many more this summer.
