Peace Love & Field Day
Banks had Field Day on the last Monday of school. It was a scorcher! His entire school [1st & 2nd Grade] loaded up and went to their sister school [3rd – 5th Grade] for a day of fun and games.
They had sack races…
They jumped over hurdles…
They played a little baseball…
…and a quick game of volleyball against Ms. Ducker’s class…
Mrs. Propst says this is one of the most competitive classes she has ever had. They think they have to win everything! You could see pure determination on each of their faces…and they smoked Ms. Ducker’s class.
They showed off their best karate moves...
They kicked a few field goals…
…and played on some blow-ups…
They finished the day with a little relay race…
Even baby brother got to enjoy some of the day’s festivities…
Of course we had to get one last picture with Mrs. Propst before he left her and graduated to 2nd Grade!
I still can’t believe that I will have a 2nd Grader next year. What a fun day to wrap up such a fabulous year!
