That night we let him pick a place to eat...his birthday dinner choice was Longhorn. Before we left, we measured his height to see how much he had grown in a year...

Sunday afternoon, a few family members braved the freezing temperatures and the spitting snow to celebrate his big day. We warmed our insides with some delicious soup and Mexican cornbread. We ended the celebration with a Judi Moore Alabama inspired cake...
We sang Happy Birthday one more time, made a wish and blew out the candles...
Owie thought the ice cream was the best...

Happy Birthday, Banks! Sorry we couldn't make it to celebrate on Sunday. Nick was out of town and I had a prior commitment on Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Looks like he had a great Bday and y'all had a yummy lunch.
