Seriously. Have I really been out of high school for 20 years? I don't feel old enough to have a 20 year class reunion...but this May marked twenty years since I graduated from DHS.
[A few of us working on the Senior class float during homecoming week.]
We planned a reunion for the last weekend in July [yes the blog is that far behind]. Getting older...means it is getting harder and harder to schedule these things. Between classmates living all over the world, spouses, children and extra-curricular activities...scheduling a weekend where everyone can make it is impossible.
We started our weekend of festivities at The Brick on Friday night. Tina was gracious enough to reserve the back area for our group.
Saturday morning we gathered for a family picnic at Wolverine Park...
It was great catching up with classmates and seeing all the children [who range in age from 17 to 5 weeks old].
The in-town planners winding the picnic down...
Saturday night we gathered at Point Mallard Clubhouse. I can't tell you how many boy/girl parties, spend the night parties & sorority "band" parties were held there. It just seemed like the most appropriate place for our class.
Me & Shannon Madison [one of my oldest friends].
A group shot of the Class of 91...
...twenty years later. I think we look pretty good!
